Albert Markopoulos

I have played hockey my entire life. I won a New York State Championship with the Freeport Arrows. I went on to play ACHA Hockey at Stony Brook and Farmingdale. I was selected to play on the ACHA DIII National Team twice, were we traveled to multiple countries in Eastern Europe playing against a high level of competition. I am currently the Assistant Coach for the Arrows 18u team. My skill based coaching style focuses on edge work, stick handling, and shooting. I run drills to get players in positions that reflect game time scenarios. This helps players develop the feeling of comfort and confidence once the puck drops.
