Spiros Markopoulos

A Long Island native, who played his youth and junior career on the island. Due to multiple injuries and surgeries that derailed his playing career, Spiros turned to coaching. He earned an assistant coaching job with Farmingdale State College where he has won five Conference championships. Along with coaching at Farmingdale, Spiros is also the head coach for the Long Island Arrows 18u team. Spiros specializes in skills for both forwards and defenseman and is well connected within the ACHA and CHF.
